Sorry: "the" not "me". Darn spell check. Anyway, This pulled up in front of my neighbors house. Only three in the world. The Queen of England owns one.

No. The owner was popping in for a visit with my neighbor. They're supposed to drive their cars in the local parade on Monday but rain is in the forecast. I didn't get much info cause I was drooling too much. It's a Rolls Royce.

No question that it's a Rolls Royce. Circa mid 30's but what model (Phantom?) I couldn't say.

It might be a Phantom II or III. Can't tell if the RR on the radiator shell is red or black. That would nail the year down. Black after 1934.

Looks like it'd be prone to high center if a guy took it hunting.

OK. I got some more info on the car. My neighbor is an 82 year old Marine and ex Police chief. He apologizes for not remembering all the details. It was a custom order 1934 Rolls for the Duke of Umberland. He was a pilot and was killed in the early days of the war. The car sat in the estate until such time as it was sold to a Hollywood big shot, painted white and used in the Beverly Hillbillies TV show among others. The present owner chased the Hollywood guy for years trying to buy the car and was finally successful. He restored it to it's original condition and takes it to local car shows. It is one of two built. The other car resides in the Queens private museum.
