For only $400 how accurate can you get a 22lr?

lol butch did i make myself look stupid being proud of my group i know i am not up to caliber with most on here but i thought it was pretty good for a noob with a new gun sorry if i bored you guys with my noob stuff

I use a little Savage Model 64, think it cost like $120 during Christmas time @ Bass Pro.... It has a cheapie Redhead Red Dot scope on it, and I can shoot pistol shells @ 25yds with ease, and my daughter can hit clays consistently at over 100 yds... Its a fun gun and extremely accurate especially considering the price.

I like your post.

22 are very ammo dependent I can accurately say every time I take my Grandson shooting it cost me a brick. Everyone have a happy and a safe 4Th Good Shooting Larry

Its cheap FUN :) even with the price of a brick.... don't worry one day we will all have cases sitting in the closet ready to plink at will!!

I have several left but they won't be $6.00 again. Good Shooting Larry

Savagedasher,
I do have a lot of 22RF ammo, but the cheapest bricks that I own were $9 and that was many years ago.

Larry one time I shot next to your granddaughter, I think she was shooting a savage 22-250. She was so short she had to stand up in the chair to shot off the bench. Having said that how is your grandson happy with a 22 lr?

Buy a Kimber 82g from the CMP, can't get a more accurate rifle for that price.

I consistently put 25 rds in under .5 inch at 50yds with mine.
