For NEO rest users, i.e. legality of your rests/front bags.

Good afternoon,
(late night here)

I would like to know if someone was ever DQ'ed or protested using the NEO rest in any registered competitions?.... such as the NBRSA, IBS, WBC/WBSF, F-Class Open, Rimfire & Airguns sanctioning bodies, 1,000 yds PA, etc?

If so, I will be happy to change the top / stopper / leveler design - to meet the rules.

So far, I only change the bottom bag on my newer (gen-2) NEO rests, i.e. to be thicker than ever. And the one pc bag.

I wonder if that is just an "issue", or real?

Thanks you in advance,
seb.

Hi Seb, here in the UK quite a few shooters use your rests (original and the new version) in our F class league shoots and also in benchrest and no one has ever questioned the legality of them. So no problem here then.

Hi Seb

As far as UK F class is concerned :) The rest is good to go, (in 3 feet standard config)
Cannot wait to the the new MAX rest and also meet you next month, bring your waterproofs and extra cold weather layer.

Since I am waiting for my new Neo and building an F-Class rifle I hope the rest is legal in competition :)

BTW: how is the waiting list Seb, been on the list since march and still waiting...

I have been on since mid February and talked to Ernie probably a month ago and said that he would guess late January for mine.

You make a very good rest. I am not a joystick fan though I wish I were. If I ever become one, I will likely buy one of yours.

I would hope you are making them legal weather somebody has been DQ'd / protested or not. :) Maybe you are just looking to making them legal without a shadow of a doubt.

With all this talk about legal bags/rests, I'm sure the bag police will be out now.
No doubt some people are not legal, not saying with your rests, especially with some of the rail systems they have.
It's just not been enforced. I'd hate to be the one with a pending record only to have it revoked due to a technicality.

Keep up the great work, Jim

Dansig, the NEO rest has been 'the king' in F-class c/ships around the world.
Ask Gary Costello, Vince Bottomley, Larry Bartholome, Jim Murphy, Danny Biggs, Eric Cortina, etc, about that.
So you don't have to worry about the legality, etc, in F-class. :)

I'm now in process with the MAX & SEB (to be finished around mid Dec), then I'll start with the NEO again.
I'm sorry for the long waiting time, or delays.
Thanks you for your understanding.

Hoier, Ernie must be right, he's the only one that knows the queue # for the USA.
We are trying our best to speedy the works but maintain our standard of quality.
