Food Saver or Gun Saver???

If you are sealing up a firearm to prevent it from being harmed in a damp environment, are you sealing it while in this same damp environment? If so, I recommend using some form of desiccant in with the rifle. Otherwise you are sealing moisture in with it and you are going to have a very unpleasant surprise when you open that bag.
 
i see where that could be a issue but the food saver sucks all the air out of the bag so i dont think there is any moisture in the bag. Since its a vacuum seal, i can see that most of the air has been removed
 
I promise you that it does not remove all of the moisture. I have a commercial grade vacuum sealer that does a MUCH better job of removing the air and even it does not remove all of the moisture. This is even a bigger issue when it is sealed because it will condense and it doesn't ever dry out.
 
A 10 pack of these is pretty reasonable.
