followers to convert adl/bdl to single shot

i have a 223 ackley that feed poorly and have seen the above in brownells. do they work as well as my single shot actions? do they just go in on top of the present one? thanks.

They work fine. There are actually 2 ways to go, the removable Davidson type:

Or a glue in single shot which works great. You can use this with just a dab of epoxy if you need to remove it down the road. 5th item down on this page:

I "glued" mine in with silicone it's worked for 2 years and counting.
