Flying with ammunition

Hello everyone, what do you think about flying with ammunition? Is it necessary to seat bullets long and set them to the desired length once I arrive?

This is for a Palma rifle / competition

I bought Clamtainers for transportation and I'm going to put them in my suitcase.

Thank you

Seat them to the usual depth. Don’t sweat it; the depth won’t change in my experience with even 0.0015” under bullet diameter ‘neck tension’. Flown out to Ben Avery several times with a plane change. The baggage handlers have not altered my CBTO.

Don't forget the rules/laws on flying with ammo, same as with your firearms. Last thing you want to do is get to your destination without your ammo and possibly a rather large fine in its place. They make it easy enough, we don't want to give anyone any reason to make it more difficult. ;)
