Flux for Silver Soldering bolt handle

This is what I use for the cadium free. I have no problems getting them timed right with any handle with some simple modifications. I dont add material. Different ways to skin a cat. I'm going to make a video of the next Remington I do to help all the guys do it themselves.
Looking forward to the video.

If you have the solder then take it with you to the welding supply and get the flux that matches that solder! Otherwise, get the advice of the specialist at the weld supply to recommend the best product combination of flux and solder together!

Paul, the real experts have given him the professional advice. Saying that, it is better to send it to Dan for a professional tig job that is timed perfectly. Check his website for pricing.

I am a former certified welder/fitter and machine builder. I know the job itself is complicated and best left to knowledgeable gunsmiths. I am a able to tig the piece myself in proper time and square, but since I am not a legal gunsmith I could never sell or transfer that gun to anyone ever! I was only answering where to buy flux! I am sorry! No I don't want people doing stupid things either but it is the land of the free!

Paul, I'm not questioning your welding ability. Just being able to do a great soldering job and having the handle square will not necessarily work. Now, why can't you sell or transfer it to another person. I am not a legal gunsmith as I let my FFL lapse. That does not preclude me from buying or selling a rifle. I just need to follow state and Fed. laws.
