I don't recall where but I thought I saw the price being around $385??? That is a bit less than the Gen I that I purchased from Killough a couple of years back. An excellent trigger indeed.

Update on what is new. The big improvemnt is substantial reduction in up pressure on the sear lever , befed up construction and larger stronger bearings that are now also enclosed design to prevent debris entering the ball bearings.

Any reduction in pull weight is unimportant is just a demonstration that trigger is safe even tough there is much less up pressure on sear level.

The new Flavio Farè BR 2.0 "Whisper" trigger replaces its predecessor "BR" of which it retains some characteristics

In fact, the performance improves, the adjustment range reduces minimum release weight , sear will not skip even in rough bolt handling , demonstrated on video with trigger set so low as to be" triggered "with a breath whose strength is estimated at around 1/2 grams (0.03 / 0.06 oz) on a Remington 700 action with the original striker's spring.

Another aspect that has been improved is reliability.

For years the FF BR trigger was considered one of the best in the world, but it still had some compromises that, in version 2.0, were totally eliminated.

The high quality bearings on which the internal mechanism is mounted remain , all 5 bearings increased in size and are now shielded to avoid infiltration of dust or other foreign debris.

The springs inside the mechanism now have a mechanical limit that prevents them from moving, while maintaining both the performance and the conditions of use of the trigger..

The trigger rotation pin has been beffed up to become particularly robust and avoid accidental breakage .

The adjustment of the release weight is much more linear and simple, making the adjustment more immediate and intuitive.

A characteristic acquired by the BR 2.0 Whisper is the enormous decrease in upp pressure so as not to hinder the sliding of the striker once released, a very advantageous feature in all cases, especially for shooters with rimfire actions where percussion is often a critical factor.

Due to copycats seling the clones Flavio is keeping it close to the west this time, and i am not making any picts ither , also i have both Flavios and Bix'n'Andy triggers also distribuite both, its hard to go as ither one is good, Bix 2 stage might be best(but that migth be purely because i like two stage triggers best) i brought the Flavio triggers to US in some numbers starting 2015 till 2018 before the Bruno's took over , original Flavio is as good as Bix but Bix has less up pressure on the sear so might have slight edge in certain actions ,Flavios Whisper reduced the upp presure on the sear considerably so is much closer to bix now. Flavio is feather weight at only 1ounce, and is able to have lower pull weigth than Bix.

So I just ordered one of the whispers and the instructions state that disassembly will void the warranty. What is the recommended method of cleaning? Just air?

I've owned my FF trigger and I've been shooting it for about 5 years on my Panda 30BR. It has performed flawlessly with it set at .5 ounce. It comes with a set of mounting pins that you should use. I think the tolerance of the pins is necessary for the trigger to perform reliably. I shoot Jewells and Bix and Andy triggers and the FF outperforms them. I polish my Jewells and frankly once I do that they're as good as my Fare trigger. I'm not knocking the B&A but for that extra money Jewell is just as good after it's been polished. Use lighter fluid for cleaning and always use a bore guide to prevent any solvents from getting into the trigger.
