Flavio Fare actions

I had a pleasure of playing yesterday with some Flavio Fare actions- 308, 338.
Boy, that thing is smoooth. Is anyone of you using one and could share some thoughts? How does it compare to BAT or Kelbly?

That's one beautiful rifle! The stock contours around the magazine, the fit, finish and checkering are first class, but for what I expect that rifle cost I would have expected the bases to fit the action. That hangover on the rear base stands out like a booger on Marilyn Monroe's nose, IMHO....512px-Monroecirca1953.jpg John

Never heard of it before and I have been at this since 1982 or so in the USA and Europe. Granted I was only in Europe for 12 years and that was almost entirely in Germany.

I am just guessing her but there is a reason no one besides you has ever brought it up on this forum or any other English speaking forum.

Making a fantastic action is no big deal if time, money and effeciency are not issues. There are 10,000 thousands of incredible gunsmiths who's names will not go down in history and almost no one will ever know. Same thing applies to custom actions especially anything made before the Gun Control Socialists took over most of the world with opressive laws on gun ownership and manufacture!
