flash hole reaming/lapua 6br

My new K&M was hogging out too much on new 6mm BR Laupau holes so I checked the OD and it was 0.065. Rubbed it on a sharpening stone both sides for a while and got her down to 0.060-0.063 with a taper. Works nice now. Don't be afraid to customize em boys, its only money.

I did two ten round tests with 6 Dasher,Lapue 6BR brass) and found the reamed/beveled flash holes cut my ESs by about 40%. That was not an extensive test nor have I ever repeated it, but I was so impressed with the difference I've done it ever since. The pilot reamer dimention was perfect for the small primer hole, I'd have to look up where I got it.

i received my .60" br deburring tool from sinclair 2 days ago and was quite pisssed that it actually measured .65".

Being from Canada it takes a long time to receive this stuff. I only deburred 5 cases then i stopped. It took 12 turns with significant pressure to get through the hole.

Oh yeah! About 80% of my Lapua cases have burs on the inside edge of the flashole.
And thats with two different lots from different suppliers.

So i figure i'll adjust the deburrer so it just skims the edge and se the results.
