flaig's info?

I have a rem 721 with flaig's 338wm barrel. Trying to find some history on the flaig company. Anyone have any info to offer?

Flaigs was located in Millvale Penna in the 60's and I still have a 270 Weatherby Mag,Rem 721) screwed on by them and it still shoots like a dream. The company itself was one of the better companies to deal with. They always did a fine job. Later on in years when I couldn't handle all the work from my shop alone, I put the pieces in a box and shipped it to them. Delivery was ALWAYS 3 wks or under and as always they did a first rate job. Their blueing was exceptional. I sent them some pieces that were ready for the scrap heap and they sent them back in beautiful shape. I can only say good about them and don't know if they are in busines anymore. After 33 years in the business I sold out and retired in 1983.

This remmy I have is in great condition. Like you said the blue on it is very nice. I wish I could find out how to reach them and maybe get some background on this firearm, if they kept there records. Thanks for the reply
