Fizzy or real Dizzy info? I was laying out parts to make a fake Dissapator (Carbine barrel, mount A2 sight at rifle length) and it dawned on me that the barrel is too thin. Most barrels have a machined section at the gas port that the gas block fits snug. If you are going to make a Fizzy with carbine gas, what barrel do you use that is the same diameter at the rifle length or do you cut down, enlarge the gas port and thread at 16 for the flash hider? Picture is a bushmaster Fizzy I pulled off the web. (yes I bought new pins and pin hole tapered reamer for the sight block install)
