fixing a crown

I have a factory .223 barrel that has a small ding in the crown. It is a recessed stepped crown. I was looking on Brownells at laps to fix it but do not know which one would be best. Should I get a .45 or a rounded lap? Thanks!

i use the ptg tool midway part # 665761, it cuts an 11 degree crown that I feel is the best for varmint and bench guns

To do it the correct way it needs to be done in a lathe, and dialed in to as little run out as possible.
