Fitting a High Wall

I have fitted n chambered many barrels for bolt action rifles. Mostly Remington, RPA, and Bernard’s. My shooting buddy has done a couple of Ruger #1s.
A friend asked if I would fit n chamber a bbl on a Winchester High Wall. Other than dealing with the extractor groove, what other issues do u have to deal with? I am not familiar with those old SS actions. On the surface, it doesn’t seem like it would be that complicated but I don’t know what I don’t know.
Any help?
Bob

If the extractor cut is not done correctly it can make a mess. Unmodified extractor should have an angle on bottom side….cross section is not rectangular. Cut in barrel is same shape. If action is a flat spring action with spring mounted to lug on barrel, the location of that dovetail for the spring lug is critical. I’ve done well over a hundred barrel installs on high/low walls.
Would be willing to share info.
