Fishnet bolt fluting

I have a Savage Mod. 12 bolt that I would like fluted in the fishnet patern and choose not to send it to SSS. Does anyone know of someone else who does it ?

Boltfluter on this site seems to do good work. Have not used him myself though.

I called him and he does not do that style . It's a very unusual style and maybe SSS is the only one doing it which means I go without !!

I'm pretty sure you cans just buy the bolt body? Have you looked around or searched Google for savage fluted bolt bodies

call them they come in different colours

They DO fantastic work but have a very poor reputation and part of that they've earned .

The ONLY one doing what I want is SSS so.........!!! Do or don't are my choices . Sometimes life can be tough !!!!

Somebody else was selling their fishnet bolt bodies. I believe it was Northland Shooters Supply. Don't blame you for not wanting to deal with SSS

Drop SSS an email and see if they have one in stock. They have had them in the past. Ordered a few and sold off the old ones. Worst thing that can happen is they say NO or don't answer? Been dealing with them for 10+ YEARS and never had any problems. Might be a little slow on the reply at times but they'll get back to you. They're a one man shop so they can't do everything "right now".
With your attitude concerning SSS, you already have two strikes against you. Give them a try and you may like what you get. Or, do without! "Patience IS a virtue".

You are correct fine sir -I emailed them and got a prompt response and all questions were answered. With my attitude I do have two strikes against me .
