First rifle build - your advice/direction appreciated

I am building my first rifle in 6mmBR. This rifle will be used primarily for gophers/yotes and paper out to 600 yrds.

Rifle build parts:
1. Remington XR-100 stock and action.
2. Remington bolt with cone bolt face and milled fluting from Pacific Tool and Gauge.
3. Kreiger heavy Palma contour, 28” – 4 groove, 6 flute barrel. Breech diam. @ 1.25” and land diam. @ .236”
4. “V” port muzzle brake from Straight Shot Gunsmithing.
5. Dan at Accu-Tig to weld handle to bolt – not sure on handle? Either Holland or Remington 40X?
6. Scope – Burris Black Diamond, Bushnell 6500 elite tactical turrets or Night Force?
7. Free Bore - .080” or .104”. These are the two measurements I found on the website. Planning on shooting 87 gr. V-max and 105 gr. A-max bullets. Whats your recommendation on this?
8. Will be shooting out to 600 yrds – will there be special rings/bases required for elevation?
9. What am I missing/forgetting to complete this build?
10. Was thinking of removing ejector primarily for ease of brass recovery – any thoughts on this? Thanks for your input. Cheers Claude

Get a custom receiver. I have always advocate this and I have just broken my rule and am paying for it. If you are building for the look to show your buddies it is one thing. If you want to duplicate a custom this is what you are looking at:
Rem. 600 receiver-$250
Buddy deal on blueprinting the right way-$150
Kiff bolt, fluted, Winchester 3 pos safety, new firing pin assem., Sako extractor, and ejector pin kit-$286
Dans40XC bolt handle and tig-$80
Anschutz bolt release-$100.
That is $866 and I still have a Remington receiver. If you do anything less, you don't have any thing close to a custom.
I preach this and got sucked into to doing a Remington.

Chevy, buy a Custom Action. I would go with a Stiller Predator Single Shot. I am currently using one on my custom 6BR and it's very nice. The Stiller Predator is much better than a fully trued Rem. 700 Action and the resale value is better too. You can get a Stiller Predator for about $750.00. There are things you can do to a Rem 700 to make it as good as the Stiller, however, it will cost a bunch of money.
