A new experience for me, this is a .22 100 yd. egg shoot. Looking out at withered , brown oak leaves hanging in the trees , there’s minimal wind. I hope it stays that way ……….LOL

There was a gentleman there shooting an old Winchester 52 with peep sights. I was impressed with his ability to hit those eggs. I’m not sure that I could have even see those eggs using those sights .

Oh ,Jumbo, these were steel eggs. When I mentioned going to an “egg shoot” , my wife’s response was the same as yours. They measured 1 3/8 x 2 1/2.

Second of these matches tomorrow. I’m taking my youngest grandson and possibly his girlfriend. I hope the weather is a bit better than last time. Neither of the kids have shot much but grandson has been ringing steel out to 500 before. I hope he enjoys this. Wow all the grandkids are growing up so fast. I’ve got to make as many memories for them as I can. ………..Good Shooting, all.

Just got back home from the match. Holy cow……….38 degrees with 11 - 14 mph switching winds. It was rather brutal. Grandson really did enjoy it. That in itself made the day worthwhile.
