Fired brass before ordering a die - question.

I just spun on a new 6PPC barrel, also have one more that was cut with the same reamer. I'm not happy with the sizing die I have been using so I'd like to order a new one, I'm thinking a Harrels. When these barrels are done I'll get a reamer of my own and have a set of dies made from it.
As you all know Harrels says to send 3 pieces of atleast 3x fired brass, when speaking with them today I asked if some approximately 10x fired would be ok, their response was 'that would be fine'.

Further thought about this tonight has me wondering which would actually be better to send - fresh 3x or harder 10-ish fired?
What say ye?

(I'm aware that I'm likely over-analyzing this, just want the best result possible-still new to BR. Also, it's not cheap calling down to the US from Canada, otherwise I would call back, plus I don't want to be 'the annoying Canuck' and pester a busy shop!)

I faced the same question 2 years ago. I chose to send them the harder, higher cycle count cases after 3 firings in the new chamber. The die they sent works perfectly on new brass thru end of life, without developing clickers.

Harrel’s just wants to be sure that the brass is fully fire formed to the chamber. The radius’s at the body/shoulder junction take multiple firings to completely form. As long as you’re satisfied that the brass is exactly formed to your chamber, whatever you send them will be fine. I think they just indicate off the brass to “map” the chamber and they compare each of the brass cases dimensions and form an average.
