Promise small and deliver big. Some don't even promise, they just deliver. My own poor planning has created a number of emergencies or if not that, a desperate sense of urgency.

So, my three (3) most recent experiences; (1) Champions Choice; order brass on a Sunday night and it's in my hot little hands Wednesday. No muss, no fuss, no drama. (2) DJ's Brass Service; needed above brass expanded and neck-turned because I've gotten lazy and, frankly, DJ simply does it better and more consistently than I ever did. Shipped it to him (we're both in Alabama) on Thursday. Had the 200 pieces back Tuesday!? How the hell does that happen? (3) McMillan; ordered my XIT McWalnut stock in April. They said 4-6 months. Unpacked it today - less than 4 months later. In looks form, fit, and function it is gorgeous.

Of course your mileage may vary and I'm sure somebody can detail how their experience was not so positive. But, I've used these businesses repeatedly and it's always the same. In this day and age when customer service means something until you actually need it, these businesses are a pleasure to deal with.

We all to often forget we are buying service as much as product.

I have had nothing but excellent service from Midway USA in the past. I recently bought 35 boxes of Speer closeout bullets at an awesome price and got free shipping, too. Purchased in quantities of 10-10-15, three orders total. They were double wall packaged perfect and I got them in the two day USPS medium box on time, undamaged.
