What is the normal, maximum or minimum fire pin protrusion of a uncocked rifle bolt. Specifcaly a Savage PT Action?

Do you know the normal, minimum and maximum setting for the cocking piece pin and the cocking piece? of this same action?

Set the cocking piece so you have .005" clearance of the cocking piece pin to the bottom (forward end) of the cocking ramp. You can also thread the rear of the cocking piece for a 10-32 set screw to stabilize the cocking piece pin. Just be sure it does not stick out enough to interfere with the bolt assembly screw.
