Fire Forming Cases (Cast Bullet Rifles)

Shooting cast bullets makes it difficult to fire form cases because of the lower pressures. What have you found to be most useful to fire form cases under these conditions?

It would have been good if you mentioned the case you are talking about - makes it easier to solve the problem.

Annealing the sections of the case that need to be re-formed is the first step.

If that isn't enough, then Hornady offers a service that is not cataloged.

Give them a chamber cast, a original case, chamber drawings, and anything else you have, and they will make a forming die that uses hydraulic pressure to pressure form the case.

The die is made with EDM (Electron Discharge Machine), and will be with a few thou of what you spec'd.
The die is used in a normal "O Frame" reloading press, like a Rock Chucker.
