Fingering primers.

I'm about to buy a 21st century primer seater and all I can think about is having to finger up all the primers as the go in. It would be nice if they had a primer tray attached. Is it really that big of a deal? I guess you're really only touching the sides and not the charge. I could probably use surgical gloves or tweezers. What do you guys think? What do you do?

Rub your fingers in graphite/Redding dry lube if it bugs you to get the oils off

I’m also a big user of the Redding Dry Neck Lube. To be allowed back in the house I wear disposable rubber gloves most of the time reloading. Probably change the gloves hourly at the bench. This keeps the loaded round perfectly clean as the dry lube clings to the gloves.

You're worrying for nothing - just wipe you hand clean of any lube and you're good to go.

I've loaded thousands of rifle and pistol rounds using a Sinclair Priming Tool which requires handling each primer - never had a problem.

Gloves, gloves and more gloves. Every trip to Costco I buy me a few boxes of them. Virtually every stage of my reloading has me wearing gloves. The side benefit is that most things tend to corrode less too (like dies, calipers and other items) when you aren't spreading finger juice on them all the time.
