Finding temp stability of powder

I’m loading for my .308 and have the following “issues”. Using AA2520 and Varget, I’m within ~50 FPS of each other and getting groups around .6MOA.

My concern is that AA2520 is not a temp stable as Varget and when I start competitions in the Virginia heat, I’ll have issues. Can someone point me to a chart or discussion on temp stability? Or tell me if I am making a mountain out of a molehill. I’ll give up the speed for safety. Thanks.

You're making a mountain out of a mole hill! No powder will work perfectly in all environmental conditions. Wait till match time gets close and then start working on loads. Varget will probably work best but there will still be temperature and humidity swings that will affect it.

I figured as much. Thanks.

My preliminary numbers with 2520 in a 223AI and 75gr bullets was 1.36 fps per degree. I left my rifle and bullets outside ar 24 degrees and then heated the rifme and bullets to 84 degrees in my shops bathroom to obtain numbers. Sounds terrible I know but as stated above get closer to your actual working temperature and work up loads. In addition Strelok has the ability to adjust velocity with temps so when you plug in your elevation and temps for the day you should be very close uless you are shooting day long shoots in highly varied temps.
I typically set my altitude and then adjust my temps for at mid shoot so that I am plus or minus a few FPS.
P.S.
2520 is one of the cooler burning powders and will increase your bbl life significantly.
