Finally finished this project

I’ve been working on putting this rifle together since the first of the year, it’s taken quite a while between waiting for the barrel, building the stock and all the rest that goes into it but I’m pretty happy how it all turned out. The Stock is what I’m most excited about, I used a gray laminate blank and did all the inletting and shaping by hand which took a lot of hours, but it took shape just like I had hoped. I’ve built a few other stock also, all by hand, but this one is definitely the best yet. The color came out different than any other gray laminate I’ve seen before. Really dark but it looks awesome.
I have to show it off here on this forum cause my wife really doesn’t realize how good this thing looks…….

So far it’s shooting really good, I’m still fire forming new brass but the groups have been awesome, I can cover all of them with a penny. And for a varmint gun I’m more than happy

That’s exactly right…..all those hours out in the garage and it’s finally finished and she asks why the lawn isn’t mowed, I love her though, I put the gun down and went and mowed the dang lawn

Mine doesn’t get it either! I keep plugging away. I do it for the personal satisfaction.
