Finally finished 6BR

It is a 6BR Rem 700 action that has been trued and the lugs have been squared up, the blot has also had a sako extractor installed, with a Hart 28" barrel 1-8 twist with a #7lv contour, I am planning on shooting the 107 gr SMK bullets, It has been bedded into a Bell and Carlson stock we sanded smooth and filled and then painted and clear coated, the barrel and action was all duracoated matte black,it has a nightforce 5.5-20-50 NPR-2 scope with nightforce rings and 20 moa base that has all been lapped. The only thing left is to have the blot knob turned off and a new one threaded on.

Sweeeeet! What type of coating do you have on the barrel & action? I am currently having Hart make up almost the identical setup & still have time to make a change on the barrel due to their long lead times. TIA and Good Shooting! Hog

It is a stainless barrel the only thing I might do different is to have it fluted or a smaller contour the gun weighs in at about 14 lbs

I missed the duracoat in the original post. I went with a Sendero contour. Going to have to do some research on the coating for varmint use. Hog

Great rifle, i love the real fire, i want to do the same on my 22BR varmint rifle build but my shooting buddies will really give me a hard time if i have any kind of "sissy" paint job!

Beautiful Rifle. I like the black barrel and action. Now paint the base to match the rest. The flame job is great! Who did that for you? Or, did you do it your self?

Love the paint job! 8) Did you do it yourself? I wanted to flame out my 300SAUM but wasn't sure how flames would look on a stock.
