Finally Became a Site Contributor!

It was about time that I contributed back to 6mmbr.com!

I have been a forum member since probably 2008 [under another username].

I have learned so much from a lot of folks here over the years. And I have also spent probably too much money in the classifieds, too!! LOL

Anyways, I just wanted to say thanks to some of the veterans here on 6mmbr.com who have given me good advice over the years.

After lurking for a year , I chose to become a member , and not quite a year later , I became a silver . After considering how much I had learned on this site , and how much money it had saved me , I knew I should become a Gold member to fully support the absolute shooting Site on the inter-web . You just can not BUY all the info and data you can get here , so if you're thinking about becoming a Silver , or Gold , Take the plunge and support this site . There ain't no free lunches , folks .

Not sure I agree with “money it had saved me”.... BUT not happy with hitting 10” pie plates at 200 yards with factory crap over the years I finally found this site and can do much better after learning to reload, chamber barrels and many other things. I would be lost without this site and the fee of “gold” is minimal for the education I gained and continue to do so.

The money it saved me was in all the things you mentioned , plus information on buying the right equipment , barrels , dies , correct types and grades of powder , etc . We never think of the decisions we make about everything connected to this sport that come from sites like this . And the multi-decades of experience and information available here . Cheapest $50.00 I ever dropped on anything .

I realized this was the best shooting site, on the internet, from the very first day. First thing in the morning as I am drinking my wake up coffee, I visit the forum. The information posted here is like taking a graduate course on firearms and shooting.

Are you looking for anything to do with shooting? You will find it here. It did not take me long to realize the value of membership and the need for our support, in order to keep this forum, up and running.

The kindness of the membership and the willingness to help others is outstanding. As a bonus, when I wanted to build a new rifle and was looking for parts, one of our members, who has a beautiful shop at his home ,gave me a beautiful benchrest stock he made. It is a hobby for him. The only thing he asked was that I make a small donation to the site but left the amount, for me to decide. I set up a monthly, recurring donation of only $5.00, which I considered painless and then increased it to $10.00 a month. I will continue to do so until I am no longer with this world. I ask all of you to consider doing the same. You will never miss the money and you will know you are helping a good cause.

I joined recently too after realizing how much valuable information I've received from the friendly and helpful people on this site.

Being not new to shooting, but relatively new to reloading, this site has been extremely helpful and patient with some of my questions...which I've learned quite a lot from.
