Filled 4 tags in 2.5 days

I had a lot of success hunting last past week using my GP-100 357 Magnum Franken-Ruger.
This revolver is stupid accurate.
I used Hornady Factory 158 grain XTP Hollowpoint.
MV was 1471 fps.
Even set up Thursday night to look for elk (with a different handgun), but they didn't show.
Had a great time!

Monday early afternoon
189 yards sitting position with Bog-Gear. Double-shoulder shot.


Last light Monday evening.
40-50 yards standing with the buck facing me.


Thursday morning: On both does I was intentionally trying to avoid the shoulder to see how the bullet would perform...It did just fine!
85 yards quartering shot, standing using Bog-Gear as a monopod...hurried shot

Very nice! Ever try the Remington 180 grain SJHP's? I run them in my .357 Magnum chambered Martini at 1750 fps and 24" Contender chambered in .357 Maximum at 2150 fps. Still trying to find a volunteer to confirm performance but have been filling my tags early with the stick and feathers.
