there are datums, then there are datums. but still no others like guffy's, or guffy. his datums were sharp, and left a mark. there are none others quite so sharp, and thus all others are imprecise.

We've battled a few times over the word headspace. He's not a bad guy, made things a little more complicated then it needed to be. Glad He's Well.

I use feeler gages for measuring no problem but where things go south is when I put a perfectly good feeler gage blade under the base during the sizing process. Guffey has magic gages that don't get destroyed.
