Federal Primers

I`m developing loads for my 6.5 x .284....the recommended loads on this website call for a fed.215M primer.....does that mean a magnum primer....????...

I believe the 215 indicates the large rifle mag primer and the "M" indicates match grade.

The 215 is Federal's large rifle, magnum primer. The "M" designates the match version. I've been real happy with their magnum primers when I use them in magnum rifles.

I use a mess of Federal 210 M primers every year, large rifle, match. Not magnum.
