Load reduction using magnum primers

If you live near a Cabelas or a Bass Pro you could get it sent there with no charge and pick it up... but you probably don't have one nearby. I just thought I would send it to you while they had them in stock. I hear LR and LP are hard to find out there.
I truly appreciate the heads up on those, but you're right, the nearest Cabelas is a 2 1/2 hour drive for me. I think they must pad those shipping charges a bit.

Replies #2 and #3 is what I would do. I don’t think there is any hard and fast formula, primers vary lot to lot anyways. I use magnum primers in some med size and larger cartridges. My 220 swift load always did best with WLRM primers for example. The safe way is to follow what’s been said multiple times, reduce a grain and go from there.
