Federal 210 Match Primers?

the word is that Federal hasnt done a run of them in a good while and with the war going on, doesnt plan to do so. Bummer.

Chuck-hunter,
They say the BR's are more consistent and they will work out just fine, but for the extra money involved I'll stay with the CCI-200's when my supply of 210M's runs down.
As much luck as I have with the Russian small rifle primers I just may hunt some of those up and give em a whirl too......

I found some Fed 210M's last week in a central GA gun shop,Sports Center - Perry, GA). Been looking for them for a year. The clerk said they had recently received a shipment. I bought 2000 and left 1000 for some other lucky shooter. You may want to circle back around to LSG's and see if they received any recently.

I have been looking high and low for federal 210M Primers. Where have they all gone? Nobody seems to have any.
Hey howdy, just purchased couple boxes of the Federal 210 large rifle primers. Question; is the red plastic interior seal supposed to be uniform? I know this sounds like, "you've got to be kidding me" for sure. But I'm planning on using them for reloading some 308 Win brass. If they are old and the plastic has degraded possibly from storage in sunlight -I doubt- I won't use them. Any info will be appreciated.

Most Federal primers vary in the coating. It is sprayed on and not plastic. Years ago there was an accident where a forklift driver bounced a case off and ran over them. There was an explosion and they had to add the coating and separate the primers from one another in that plastic holder. Nothing wrong with them. You will find some lots with hardly any on and some that are just plastered with it. Matt
