Feast and Famine 6.5 PRC brass

Just about 1 year ago I backordered some Peterson 6.5 PRC brass from Europtic. I forgot that I ever placed the order. Today, they shipped 4 boxes to me. A couple of days ago I found 200 cases of Lapua 6.5PRC brass and ordered it from Bullet Central. It also shipped today....!

I shoot a 6.5 PRC for hunting, and was considering building a 7SPRC for f-open...I think Karma is calling.....

Same thing happened to me, but with Berger 220 LRHT bullets ... had 'em backordered at 3 locations and they all shipped the same day. Now I have over 2,000 of them and clearly need to shoot my 300-PRC more often or I'll be using them until my son is retired and I'm dead from old age. Like you said ... Feast or Famine.

I watch reloading component pricing, nearly daily. Feast, famine, AND pricing/availability are the factors at play.

Have finally decided, that if I have a planned build in the future, shop around and buy. We don't know what the future holds, so, don't wait.

When I hear that some supplier has just got a supply of product in that I've been waiting for, it almost always means other suppliers have also got their shipments of the product from the same manufacturer too. So, I'll check out "other" suppliers at that moment for that product since going to the one mentioned, I usually end up too late. Looking over the other suppliers, I've found I can often find the product at lower price. . . .but, I still have to move fast as it all still goes out the door quickly.
