Fclass and shooters who cant lay prone

I have a fellow shooter I shoot with who is a HELL of a shooter but due to injuries and age can not get in the prone position. I have seen a picture from Berger SW nationals of a gentelman shooting in a seated position with the rifle on what appears to be a table top with his rifles rested. What are the rules for shooters who cant in the position.

Petition to the NRA. Bob Depp is who you saw shooting off the small table, and he is a hell of a shooter, and an even better individual. One of the best people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. ;)

Here's a picture I took at last year's Nationals. Jim Murphy scoring for Bob Depp. Team Kentucky. ;)

If you study the picture of the shooter, I think that you will see that what I posted is probably what he was using.

I shot one relay next to Bob at last year's FCN. He is truly a gentleman and an outstanding shooter. If you have a chance to meet him this year you should do so - he will inspire you. That is the bench he used.

Bob Depp is an incredible inspiration to all of us Kentucky shooters who have had the pleasure to know him. A finer man does not exist. He is a well known member of the notorious old school Western Ky. Clan of shooters, which include Jeff Bartlett, Jim Murphy, Bob Depp and Mike Wells hailing out of the Owensboro area. All of these fellas are stand up guys, none better.

At our club, we have a couple of movable shooting benches at the various lines for just such situations. I've squadded a couple of "bench shooters," in the last few months. I just put them at the end of the line so the other shooters on that target can shoot prone without having to move the bench every time. When the line is full, we just move in the bench at the appropriate time and move it out when the shooter has finished his string. We even wait for the shooter to stand up and remove is equipment before we move the bench, it's not as heavy to move then.

Here are some links that should provide all of the information you will need to contact and petition the NRA. I have also included links to the actually forms that will need to be filled out and sent to the NRA. This is covered under rule 13 of the competition rules if any one would care to look at those as well.
