FB or BT bullets for fireforming Dasher brass?

Mulligan

just wondering which is better for fireforming Dasher brass, flat base or boat tail bullets and why?

I read an older article regarding fireforming dasher brass that stated flat-based bullets gave more consistant blow lengths.

I believe consistent blow lengths come from holding the case from movement. I use a .257 mandrel set up with a slight crush. I also like to put the bullet in the lands. I like to use a long heavy bullet because I believe they hold in the case better and help with pressure. I also like to use a faster powder not RE15. Make sure the chamber is clean. Matt
