What is your favorite varmint stock for live varmints up to 500 yds? Why did you choose it as your favorite?

Has anybody shot the #005 Thumbhole varminter from Richard's Custom Rifles? Looks like it would be real nice on the bags, and I sure like the look of the laminated walnut. Very pretty stick.

Here's my medium Bat in 6 mm imp and Richard's long range thumbhole. Killed a few hogs with it out past 800 yds, tracks very well.
I also like his 008 F-Class and Model 001 stocks.

That thumbhole looks perfect. Did you happen to notice it's weight? Not sure about Richard's wood weight as compared to Shethanes.

Mike, I'm not sure of the stock weight but the whole gun weights around 16.5 lbs. I don't worry much about weight as I don't compete anymore. Flip Richard an email as he probably can give you a close weight.
