Favorite jeans

When I saw your name pop up next to the thread title, I thought i don't think Ive ever seen Donny in a pair of jeans. I had to get Casey Brandjies to pour my last slab and Sarai's driveway now that you are a yankee.

Used to wear Levis, but went to Wranglers years ago. Last year, went on a trip to Gettysburg and forgot to pack extra jeans. Stopped by a farm and ranch store in Kansas and picked up some $10 jeans, IIRC, called True Blue. Lighter weight denim than the Wranglers, but fit well and had huge pockets. Seldom wear my Wranglers anymore. Large pockets work well for CC.
I haven't been in the 30's for waist size since I was in high school.

Levi 501's since I was old enough to pull a pair of pants.
Nothing else fits the same to me.
The brown carharts are super tough but if your working under pickup on the ground, all the stuff will fall out of your pockets. I had to go back and find my pocket knife one time.

Didn't Levi throw their hat in the anti "black gun" ring along with Dick's? I won't buy from either anymore.

Starched Wranler 13MWZ. For work and leisure. Unfortunately the denim is about half the weight it was a decade ago. And you have to check each pair now to be sure leg seams are straight. Our government has regulated the quality out of everything.
I wear 38 length, haven't seen straight leg seams in years...

Levis is not LEVIS any longer and which commie corporation is not anti gun when it fits their needs, I wish somehow we could bring back "Truth in advertising"

I hate the stretch jeans maybe get 6 months before thy start giving up, Have been told to line dry them the dryer kills the spandex or which ever stretchy crap they sneak in for us to fat Americans who did not ask for such.

I am going to give Duluth another try, Vietnam Mexico wherever ???? guess that will have to do, I did look up some made in the USA jeans the fabric was from overseas and over 100.00 a pair

Rant over

Yeah, I don't like the stretch jeans, but they are good for some folks. I've been fortunate enough to keep my waist between 32 and 33 for many years. I would really like to try some of those Japanese denim (20, 24, 36, even 40 ounce) jeans, but $400.00???? C'mon. I'll have to leave those to the Hollywood crowd.

I visited a weaving plant years ago that was making denim for Wrangler ( I think that what the guy said) anyway it was being woven at an incredible speed.. 100's upon 100's of looms running..

My wife came home with 2 pairs of wrangler rubber stretch jeans. I was like have you lost your mind?

Wrangler carpenter jeans for years, but I recently picked up 3 pair of Dickies carpenters to try. The jury's still out on longevity, but they fit fairly decent. The seat does fit loose. The missus attributes that to butt erosion over the years, though lol

No “strangler’s “ for me since I was about 12.
Those B17 carharts like OP stated I’ve been wearing for 20+ years, even those have changed over time.
