favor to ask

I would really appreciate if someone could give me a few measurements. If u have a 140gr or 160gr 7mm accubond. A measurement from base to ogive and an approximate boattail length measure would be awesome. My ogive measures is the hornady tool 7-28, but anything would be great.
as always u fellas r awesome for any help.

I have the hornady tool too . I thought I had both the 140's and 160's , but I only have the 160's in the accubond . my 140's are ballistic tips .

160 accubond
base to ogive 0.835
boattail length 0.104 this is as close as I could eyeball

Here is the weird thing about the comparator bushings...

I have two for each caliber (243, 284 & 30) and there is always a slight difference between both. Problem is, they are not standardized measurements.

There is a nice discussion of this in The Berger loading book. You have not calibrated your tool, so it can measure difference accurately, but not the absolute length.

My Mitutoyo Calipers are calibrated. I'm talking about the bullet comparator bushings of the same calibers that have ever slightly different bores.
