Father’s Day in the Loading Room

I hope you all got to spend the day doing something you enjoy. I did.

After the local club 600 shoot and a late night TV watch of flat track motorcycle racing, I was pooped. Early morning church and a motorcycle ride, talking with kids and grandkids, got me into the loading room for a rest. Finished loading for next Saturday's paper shoot and answered more Fathers' Day calls. Too hot to play outside so the loading room was a good place to spend some quality time.

I’m envious of the very nice loading areas! I’m also curious how many have checked their home owners insurance policies limits for powder and primers?

Mulligan, as I surveil your set-up, I notice that you are the proud owner of the famous Lee Safety Powder Scale. With a fine piece of equipment like that, I'm interested to know just why you bother to have those other scales and the Chargemaster taking up valuable room.:p jd

I agree about the overhang. I didnt do it either but next time i will. I wish i had a better place than my 900° garage. Hoping to build a new garage and it will have a dedicated loading area and ac.

Very well organized. Me? I just bought my second .22 caliber cleaning rod. Then I found the other one.:rolleyes:
Father's Day? Yep, I went to the range for some load development. :D

@CaptainMal. Some nice racks there!

Nice reloading den you have there. Like the idea of the extended counter top.
Father's day for me was to pull out my M1 Garand and other weapons and give them a good cleaning. They have all been sitting far to long without use since I started shooting F-Class.
It was a great day.

I would be embarrassed to show my setup. Everything is on a 75 YO big teachers school desk and one storage rack. It works for 2 rifles.

Just so you don't feel that you are alone, I work out of a pilothouse on a boat. Very limited room and a miniature table that I have added a second leg to try and stabilize.

The wife and I were sick, we made the kids stay away so we wouldn’t get them sick also. She stayed in her room and I reloaded all weekend between naps. I have been focusing souly on my 284 lately so I took the opportunity to load 25-06 and 223. Also fooled with my 10-10 to get it to tare better at lower weights. E

Your brain must he wired different. Your powder increases in burn speed from right to left, not left to right. Are you by chance in the southern hemisphere where things are backwards?
