When I was visiting Colorado recently I saw a referendum on mountain lion hunting on the news. I don't believe it passed.

Proposition 127: Hunting and trapping of mountain lions, bobcats and lynx would be banned in Colorado

Colorado's Proposition 127, placed on the ballot by animal conservation groups, would outlaw the hunting of mountain lions, bobcats and lynx.

Perhaps the voters will reconsider when enough pets disappear and enough power walkers are attacked.

Prop 127 did not pass, which was a good thing. That is the 2nd attack on that particular trail, a runner was able to fight off another lion several weeks back in the early morning. He was able to get a photo of said lion right before it attacked him, he was very lucky.

When in lion or bear country, be prepared. I've been in both, these predators are not kitty cats and teddy bears that you take selfies with.He goes and a Mossberg Maverick 88 top folder he warns of predators and they get wasted if we're attacked.This boy almost got capped when he made me in my wolf blind in Montana ,he'd a taken a 270 in the coconut had he tried climbing the 12 feet to reach me.

It is a good thing that the lion was camera shy.
