Farley manufacturing, are they still in Buisness? I have a customer who is wanting a black widow action and I can’t find Farley on the net anymore. We all know about Farley time anyway but I did like their products. Their rest was always my favorite. . I hope all is well for them!

I got a rest directly from Mike Farley about a year ago. I don’t know if they are in full time business but I believe you can still order rests.

Le, here is a nice rifle that has been in the classifieds for some time.

Anybody have current contact info for Farley? I tried the number posted above and recording says it's not a working number.

Mike farley told me last year they were not in the rest buisness anymore.

Anything you need for your Farley rest from service and repair to parts replacement. With 3 different pressure points, each with different requirements. Along with upgraded parts, bearings, and counterweight assemblies. Along with new parts to build a complete new rest.

That makes sense ????? Not......

Forget the link??
I think what Mark was trying to say is he makes replacement parts for the rests and refirbs the rests to better than new.
I had him work on one of my Farley's about a year ago. It was crazy smooth when it was returned.

He is currently building me a counter-weight system for my primary rest (Farley) and has my backup in for a sprucing up at this time.

If I got anything incorrect, I will bet Mark will come along and correct me.

There is no website, feel free to PM or contact me by phone to answer any question. Finished up machining on 3 rest bodies and several plates are almost completed to be sent out for anodizing. All pressure sides of the plates are surface ground, and the same for the rest bodies. You can see how little contact area the anodized plate has.

Since I am a manual shop, each part is machined one at a time. Making parts by cnc would be nice, however on Farley rests part size’s fluctuate some. To make a part I need to have the rest to confirm sizes and fit.

Great that someone is taking care of people that have bought Farley rests since the guys that built them originally apparently aren't.

What about Farley actions? Are there parts out there anywhere?

Since I have been around a long time, I have to say there has to be a certain amount of humor involved in your question about Farley action parts.. :)

There might be. But the odds getting them would be the equivalent of winning the lottery. Or going to Neptune.

My two “go to” Rifles are built on early Farley Actions. One is my LV Group Rifle, the other my 30BR VFS Rifle.I know a lot about the early models with the cast 17-4 action bodies and the S-7 tool steel bolts.

Glad you got a chuckle out of my question.

I can make what I need, but it would sure save me a bunch of time if I could buy the parts. I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. I've found other unicorn poop parts for rifles much older that the Farley I picked up a while back. Would #025 be an early model?

Thanks Aero!

I will work on any brand of rest, and have enough support equipment to machine and precision grind parts. The liability is too much when it comes to machining or making parts for action.
