False Shoulder

Making the false shoulder for the Dasher! Once you neck up to .25 Cal., What type of bushing are you guy's using to neck the case back down to 6mm? A partner of mine has been testing the neck up/neck down method and is ruining cases. Is there a special tapered bushing to be had or are you guys modifying bushings too neck the cases back to 6mm? I noticed in the Sinclair Cat, that Wilson Carbide bushings have a radius. Do some of the Redding bushings have this radius?

After expanding up with a 25 caliber mandrel, I have been using a 0.267" Redding bushing in a Redding type S neck die to get the neck to size. The trick is to only screw in the top part that holds the decapper rod and that stops the bushing from moving up, to the point that the neck is just sized down small enough to chamber with some firm pressure on the bolt. This will be about 0.100" short of the normal "screwed all the way in" position, and the false shoulder will be very visible. If the neck is buckling or otherwise deforming when sizing down, I can't imagine what could cause this. All the bushings that I have seen have a radius, so that shouldn't be the cause of this. However, a bit of Imperial sizing die wax should stop that cold if it happens often.
