I picked up a 30 TC the other day, never would’ve thought buying the all time sales flop made me a follower

I am a confirmed junkie for Sharps Borchardt actions. Stronger than a Ruger #1/3 and twice the room for engraving. My next will be a 225 WIN I do believe... One is off having Double Set Triggers as I type.

I won a TC icon in 30TC. Very accurate, taken it elk hunting twice. 2 shots 2 elk. I see the brass is no longer listed on the Hornady ws. Luckily I purchased 100 brass and a case of ammo years ago. It's like loading a souped up 308 win, very easy load development.

That’s what this one is. I had an Encore barrel a long time ago and it shot really well but was busy with other projects at the time and didn’t shoot it very much. Sold it for some reason that seemed to make sense at the time. Always kinda wanted to get another one and always kinda wanted an Icon because I'm a TC fan. That cartridge is always the butt of jokes but I think people would be pleasantly surprised with it.

I'm waiting on reamers for a 222 Remington Mag Ackley Improved.

The reamers are here. Barrel in the lathe just waiting on the receiver to ream and headspace. I made the sizing and seating die yesterday. I'm waiting on jhoghunter to finish profiling the walnut blank that I got from Dave Tooley.

Always thought a 338 Marlin Express necked down to 7mm would have been a great round for a levergun or single shot.

That one would be fun. Kinda like a modernized 7-30 Waters.

If I wasn't already swimming in Encore and Contender barrels that I don't shoot, I would think this would be a good one to build a barrel on.

That looks surprisingly like a 30 BR.

I think that would have been better than shooting the supersonic 125gr. MK bullets from the 300 BLK. I would have bought a Remington 30 AR rifle to do what I have the 300 BLK for now. To bad it was a flop.

I like the idea of a 30 grendel (30 major), Similar to the 30 AR. Good amount of punch for an AR. The 6.8spc deserves more credit as well.
