factory versus accurized rifle comments

This is just comments I'd like to make concerning making the leap from factory to match barrel blueprinted action rifles.
WOW what an improvement!! the point of impact is consistent. the chrony extreme spread is 40 to 50 fps for a fully accurized gun (fireforming brass) versus factory guns with a 100 to 150 fps spread. i clean a match barrel with 6 OK way less than 10 patches and a factory barrel, i'm there a while, and loose count of how many patches i go through. what a joy to shoot, i boresighted an accurized gun by sight at 50 yds hit the target, my second shot was at 100 yards on paper and very close. that is just cool. i'm just sold on fully accurized actions and match barrels; boy are they a ton of fun to pull the trigger on. Take Care

The next time you want a new custom made rifle, Build it your self. Start with a Savage action, (Savage sell new actions only, or get a good used doner rifle) no gun smith required. Have the barrel made to your specks, and to fit a Savage action. Order a Rifle Basics Sav-ll trigger, and the correct bolt head if necessary. Get an unfinished stock to your liking, and build it your self, its not that hard. Like maybe a 6MMBR or ?.
Then you can say, I made that rifle myself. And there's plenty of free help and advice right here.
And you will really like it, and it will be a true one of a kind custom built rifle.
Mike.
