Has anyone re-chambered a factory Tikka T3 Lite from 243W to 6BR?

I will be using this for silhouette shooting in hunter class. Doing some math, the thinner neck of the 6br means that the 243 chamber has to be cut such that the 6br neck starts where the 243 neck ends. This means at least 0.5667" of the 243 chamber has to be cut to fit the 6br.

Is there enough barrel forward of the receiver in the factory Lite barrel to set back that much?

If you're asking, is there enough shank left to cut more threads, there's about a 3/4-1" shank. There won't be much, but how much pressure does a 6BR have, really, that would require much of a shank.

But, to answer your question, after a 1/2" setback, there won't be much shank left before the taper.
