Factory Remington ammo primers?

Long story short… at a state match, forgot my 30-30 ammo at home, local Academy had plenty of 150gr corelocks, bought 5 boxes of 20. All 5 boxes have what look like mixed primers… anyone ever see this? Everything else looks the same but the primers…

I wonder if they had to "borrow" some Federal primers. The Federal HOA and STS/Nitro are the same hull, just different colors.

Lever Gun Silhouette State Championship…. 3 guns, smallbore (22LR), Pistol Cartridge (most straight wall pistol cartridge chamberings) and CLA (center fire rifle, mostly 30-30 and 38-55). “Most” 30-30’s will shoot factory 150gr ammo reasonably well. (We shoot offhand with iron sights from 50-200 yards). Left my ammo at home when loading the truck up to go to the match, didn’t realize till Friday afternoon at the range for sight in, was going to be a 5ish hour round trip back home to retrieve forgotten ammo, Academy was 20 minutes away, decided to buy 5 boxes of 150gr Remington corelocks and take my chances as opposed to spending Friday evening driving back to Houston. My score for the portion of the match with my 30-30 would have been slightly better with “my” ammo but the weather was so bad and I am such a fair weather shooter that it is hard to tell. They all went bang, the spotting “mostly” agreed with the breaks (shots) I made, hard to say whether my misses that felt good were me or the ammo. I shoot A LOT, obviously reload A LOT, haven’t bought factory ammo to compete with in years. Was very disturbed when I saw 2 different primers in the same 5 boxes of ammo but what was done was done, no one to blame but myself so on I trundled…

Wasn't the Remington primer plant shut down for a revamp when it changed hands . Heard they were using CCI primers for a while .

I had to go to a Runnings store nearby this morning. Opened one box of Remington 30-30 150 cl, 4 silver primers 16 reg Rem colored. Minnesota. They're probably all over the country.

Wasn't it shut down when Remington declared bankruptcy? Then bought by Vista.
