Hey guys,
I'm guessing Alliant Reloader 19?
I picked up a almost dusty box of factory Remington 7mm SAUM, loaded with the 150gr Corelokt. I wanted to see how Remington Brass compares to the Norma 300 SAUM that I am using for my 6.5mm SAUM.
I was initially going to dump the powder, then resize the neck and reload with H1000, however I decided to reuse the powder. So after weighing the powder from the first case which happened to be 60.5 grs, I counsulted my Nosler reloading manual. They list 60.5 grs Reloader 19 behind their own 150gr projectile.
I loaded 60grs behind a 140gr SST and at the range today, I had one 3 shot group of 0.458 and another tighter group of 0.383. This was out of a Criterion 24 inch fluted 1:8 twist.
I've been trying H1000 and have consistent 1 inch groups, but If Reloader 19 is the powder that produces groups this small, then I want to get some to try.
