Went out with my mini-14 and before I could set up my call I saw this guy running away from me
at about 150 yards...well I missed the first shot and three more... he turned going full bore ...I kept on him and kept firing as I walked the bullet into him and finally nailed him at what my range finder said...360
yards.. It took 5 shots to finally nail this guy...dang lucky shot...in the face. In this case I was sure glad I had the semi-auto capability. Just another fun hunt story for ya all...

Fur weren't too bad for a medium size dog... Yes the mini has had some work done to it by Accuracy Systems.
It is now worth some better accuracy for sure. Yep 24 inch on a Ruger mini-14. I set up and called 4 different
places and not a bite so I was happy to be able to luck out on this run away...LOL
