+1 on the Mystic MPOD from EGW.

It is very well engineered. And at 16 ozs., it's about the lightest thing around.

Glad the MPOD is working well for you. The standard MPOD actually weights in around 12.5oz to 13oz ( weight varies a bit from production run)

The goal was to be as light or lighter then the common Harris swivel bipod. This goal we met.

The long leg set adds another 1oz overall.

Hope you are having a great off season and chat with you in the near future.

Wilbas, nice looking rifle.

Take care...

Jerry

Jerry, I just found this post...LOL

Yep...the M-Pod is my only bipod now. Sold the Joy Pod and am keeping the Sinclair due to it being a gift from Sinclair for helping with development, but it is a backup/loaner.

When I need another bipod, you can bet it will be an M-pod. :)

I hope you can make it to the Berger match. It will be a historical match as the new building will be done and the range will be dedicated to Mid Tompkins. Hope you can make it.

Cheers!
Warren

MPOD team shoot?

Warren, sorry but can't make the BSW. Would love to go but Q1 and Q2 are my busy time of year.

I am really hoping to make it to some Pac NW matches this year. Are you competing in my neighbourhood?

We should try and make a team of MPOD FTR shooters - Savage actions or otherwise.

That would be fun.

info@mysticprecision.com if you want to chat offline.

Have a great winter.

Jerry

If you want a bipod that is light (17 oz's), indestructible, eats recoil and doesn't bounce, there's only one choice. Flex Pod. Ohiodan on this forum sells them. I'll never shoot anything else. True Seymour?

+1 On the flex bipod it soaked up the recoil when I shot the 208 amax

Eric32, No worries about hop either. Dan Pohlabel is a class guy to boot. Time for an informal poll of top flight competitors using the flex-pod ? Seymour
