F-Open Shooters--What Front Rest do you use?

I have used a Shadtree top on a caldwell base for several years now. Needs to be cleaned out regularly and regreased and tension reset (6 monthly of so), and works well.
I have used Farleys and like them alot, they are defonately smoother.
But recently one of our members got a SEB mini. The difference is amazing on how smooth it adjusts, with no little jumps, it extreemly responsive and far better than farley or shadtree tops. I will admit it was straight put of the box and it will be interesting to see how it wears in, and if any grit or sand gets into the mechanism

SEB gen II coaxial w/ f class accessories. Lighter than the NEO, may well be as light as or close to the MINI, but I may resort to the MINI just for the ease of portability.

Dolphin Gun Company co-axial. Brilliant front rest and superior in operation to a Farley or SEB based on getting behind them.6BRAI.jpg

Thanks for all the input. It seems that the joystick style is most prevalent. Another question if I may. Do you hold off for wind or click the scope?

For F-Open by far the SEB Neo or Seb Mini! Well worth the money. if you don't like, you can sell it on this site in less than the time it took me to write this.

Larry speaks the truth!..........Except me I use the SEB MAX. Other rests will work, but none compare to a SEB IMO.

Depends on your preference, and sometimes the condition. I tend to adjust the scope rather than hold over. I know other shooters who prefer to hold...comes down to your confidence a lot of the time.

I have a Farley for my midrange gun and a Seb Neo for my z-rail LR gun.
Either one is great.
I also use a Farley (300M-900M). It is a great rest but the Farley boys are maddening to have to deal with. Which is why I ordered a SEB NEO. Selling the Farley.
