F-Open rifle regulations

I know 22lbs is the legal weight limit for an open rifle.

They state the forearm should be 3 inches.

How strick are they on the 3 inches. If you have a stock that is 3 1/4 inches, would they have an issue with this.

I think the rule is 77mm or about 3 inches.

The number I got was 2.992 inches or 76mm. I was told that this would be checked at the big matches coming up over the next year like Nationals and the Worlds.

Thanks for the responses, I will have to cut 1/4" off mine, 1/8 per side!

I hate to do this, but . . . . .

Why cut 1/8 off each side? Cut it off one side, half the work, and use the wider side to help you resist rifle torque. Some stocks have been purposely built to allow one side to be wider.

I measured them last night. Only one is over.

The rest are 3.018 inches wide. It seem all my rifles are a fraction over 3"!

I don't think they would have a problem with .018 over?

I will use the 3 1/4" for F/TR ;)
